The AGIS working group leaders are warmly invited to attend this event to learn about the new processes and structures of the AGIS working groups, to network with one another, and to explore opportunities for collaboration.
Beyond an Initiative: Nurturing a Whole-Community Approach to Equity-Rooted SEL
This highly practical workshop will give educators concrete strategies to weave SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) across the curriculum and into systems and structures, using IFSEL’s Whole-Community Approach. Through a series of practical and engaging break-out sessions, participants will:
- Explore practices for direct SEL instruction in elementary and secondary settings.
- Learn how to integrate SEL into everyday teaching and learning.
- Align school systems and structures with your SEL vision.
- Build authentic partnerships with parents and caregivers.
- Strengthen Responsive and Restorative Practices through an SEL lens.

We are delighted to offer this conference at this special international conference site. It is large, spacious, and can easily accommodate the 300+ delegates we are expecting, with a suite of modern, well-equipped rooms, for every type of networking and workshop. The setting is beautiful alongside a lakeside, on the site of the original construction of airships in the early 20th Century, and a short tram journey from the historical Potsdam city centre.
